About Marvis

Marvis, the Chief Fun Officer, faced life challenges that led to a struggle for survival and a cessation of dreams. Although appearing composed externally, the internal turmoil was evident. Fun seemed elusive. During her son's college preparations, Marvis instigated changes, relocating and adopting a gluten-free diet. The move to a new city unveiled her passion for line dancing.

This shift towards a healthier lifestyle brought about improvements in digestion and sleep. Most significantly, the resurgence of dreams occurred. Admitting that life challenges had momentarily deferred some dreams, Marvis envisioned the life she desired and set goals. Now serving as the CEO and Chief Fun Officer of M. E. Henderson, Inc., as well as the founder and Vice-Chairperson of the Lift Every Voice Institute, a 501c3 organization, she orchestrates academic and social enrichment activities for students and their families, fostering responsible citizenship.
